Tap Dancing!

Just what is tap dancing I hear you ask…..? Tap dance is a type of dance characterised by using the sounds of metal taps affixed to the heel and toe of shoes striking the floor as a form of percussion, coupled with both characteristic and interpretative body movements. The residents at Loreto Home of Compassion had fun with the TAFE students showing off their moves.

Loreto Home of Compassion welcomes Bishop Mark Edwards

Enjoy a few photos from this week’s Mass at Loreto Home of Compassion with Bishop Mark Edwards. The residents were very happy to meet him and have the opportunity to chat one on one with him as he took the time to meet and talk to each one. Bishop Edwards also took Holy Communion to those in their rooms after Mass. Bishop Edwards brought a gift for Archbishop Carroll as he celebrates his 90th birthday on 9th September, then he went to have lunch with the Loreto sisters.
