Read MoreWith all the change to visitations and social distancing practices we have had to put in place to deal with the COVID-19 pandemic, you may think it’s been a joyless few weeks for the residents and staff at Mary Potter Nursing Home and Loreto Home of Compassion.
While the change has come with many challenges, it has also come with its fair share of positives and we are finding many unexpected moments of joy to appreciate.

Read MoreDue to recent announcements regarding increased positive COVID-19 testing in our local community, The Forrest Centre have implemented further visiting restrictions for our nursing homes.
Essentially there are no more visits to take place except for those outlined in the attached memo.
We are aware of the impact this will have on families and residents, however, see this as a necessary step to protect the health and wellbeing of those in our care.
