Forrest Community Services Griffith visit the local Sikh temple

We were greeted by four men who are part of the committee for the Gurdwara Singh Sabha.

We were provided morning tea in the library off to the side of the temple, Pakora, Paneer Fried Sandwich and Gulab Jamun (Indian milk doughnuts) with Indian tea (similar to Chai but more mild) coke and orange juice.

We then went over to the temple where we took off our shoes and covered out heads, and took the elevator up to the upper level and given a talk about Sikhism and Indian culture, everyone seemed to enjoy this and asked many questions.

Lunch was provided downstairs, it was delicious and seemed to be enjoyed by everyone. .

Our customers were treated with so much respect by the people of the temple, it was truly a beautiful event.
