Wanted: Registered Nurse - FCS Griffith

About the role

An opportunity has become available for an experienced Registered Nurse with enthusiasm and commitment to join our team at Forrest Community Services in our Griffith Office.  This is a rewarding role for the person interested in working in partnership with older people in an environment of choice and independence. You will be responsible for carrying out and maintaining Forrest Community Service's high standards in terms of clinical care and support. You will be assisting our clients in their own homes.

You will

  • Be part of a dynamic and supportive team.

  • Provide Registered Nurse services - administering care in accordance with each client's individual needs.

  • Provide Case Worker services - evaluate clinical needs, assessing, planning, and reviewing care in line with each client's individual needs.

  • This role is full-time, primarily during office hours, Monday to Friday, with occasional visits to clients out of hours.

You'll have:

  • Willingness to learn practices and procedures in a positive, safe working environment.

  • Registered Nurse Qualifications

  • Qualifications in Aged Care as appropriate (highly regarded).

  • Experience working in aged care or the health sector (highly regarded).

  • Work rights for Australia (visa sponsorship will not be offered).

Founded on spiritual support and personal connection, The Forrest Centre is a Riverina-based care provider.  We are a registered charity that has been working with the community for almost 40 years to ensure elderly people across the region receive the care and attention they deserve. The Forrest Centre includes Forrest Community Services for at-home care across the Riverina, as well as residential aged care in Wagga Wagga at Loreto Home of Compassion (76 residents), Mary Potter Nursing Home (70 residents) and The Forrest Centre Hospice (10 residents). We employ almost 300 staff across the region, who all share the same dedication to respectful, compassionate and people-centred care.
