LASA Forum in Wagga

The Forrest Centre was pleased to be the host site for the recent aged care forum held in Wagga Wagga.  Mr Brendan Moore, the State Manager of LASA encouraged us all to stay connected with the elderly in our communities, whether they be in a residential nursing facility or in their private homes.  Mr Robertson noted that aged care is a growing industry with a variety of jobs using a wide range of skills. The Forrest Centre employs approximately 250 people, through its two nursing homes in Wagga, as well as caring for hundreds of people in their own homes throughout the region from Tumut all the way to Griffith.
