For the past two years, a small and dedicated group of volunteers has worked tirelessly to raise funds to assist The Forrest Centre build a palliative care hospice.

Thanks to their efforts, the Hospice is becoming a reality.

Through raffles, a trivia night, fairway dinner, golf day, cocktail party, the New Year’s Eve fireworks in Wagga Wagga and two years of Wagga Wagga Takes Two (Nicole Campbell in 2016 and Rod Kendall in 2017) significant funds have been raised.

Committee members were given a tour of the Hospice as it approaches completion.

“We were thrilled to see how wonderful the facility looks and how it will function to support people as they approach the end of their life,” said Hospice Fundraising Committee Chair Mick Quirk.
